Dear friends and fellow Democrats, 

First of all, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS everybody! You did it! You won! 

I was amazed watching the election unfold. I could not believe my eyes. I had prayed and prayed for God to help us restore humanity to our state, our country and our world. The results started coming in and I couldn’t believe it. There it was. Bright as day. We were winning. Not just winning. We were winning BIGLY! All this was happening because of our faith, hard work, perseverance, courage and a refusal to give up decency.  

Second, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who shared your time, talent and treasures to make our world a better place! Some of you donated your time to help write postcards and make phone calls. Some of you worked LCDP events setting up tables and chairs and decorations. Some of you acted as ushers or brought food and cold drinks. Some of you donated money to candidates and to LCDP. Some of you worked the polls, early voting and ballot boards. Some hung signs by the roads and delivered yard signs. Mostly, with all my heart, I want to thank all of you for showing up to get the job done. Because you did, I know I will sleep a whole lot better. Thanks.
