Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before any Election Day. Be sure to check your voter registration before then to make sure everything is up to date! The last day to register to vote is October 5th. Click here and verify you are in the system and your registration is marked ACTIVE. If it is marked SUSPENSE, you will still be able to vote but you will need to confirm your current address. You can find an article about the SUSPENSE issue here.

In addition, if you have registered to vote via the DPS website in recent months, and you are not able to verify your active registration on the above website, you may be part of a backlog due to a DPS error.
